LiverPool Pooled Human Hepatocytes

Our best-selling, patented¹ LiverPool™ pooled human hepatocytes are designed exclusively by Celsis IVT to have the characterization, quality and viability you need for your research. To produce LiverPool, all incoming donor tissue and combined lots are characterized using our proprietary (and patent-pending) algorithm. The hepatocytes are derived from only high-quality, non-transplantable liver tissue from fresh, whole livers. Their viability is greater than 80% and the cells exhibit both phase I and II enzyme activities.

Each 5-, 10-, 20- or 50-donor pool of LiverPool is characterized for CYP1A2, CYP2A6, CYP2C9, CYP2C19, CYP2D6, CYP2E1, CYP3A4, UDP-glucuronosyl transferase and sulfotransferase activities. View in-stock lots in our LiverPool characterization table.
